Tabitha King’s father instilled confidence in her from a young age, always encouraging her to enter any room with the mindset that she owns the place. This self-assurance has stayed with her throughout her life, empowering her to take risks and embrace challenges.

King has always been driven by passion and determination. While the title industry might seem dull to some, she genuinely loves it. Her enthusiasm is often described as contagious. Making people feel confident and at ease throughout the closing process comes naturally to her.
Her mother, Jo King, is her greatest mentor and biggest cheerleader, as she has always exemplified leadership and strength, both in her unwavering faith and her selflessness.
“She taught me to lead by example and to treat others with the kindness and respect we all deserve,” said King. “Watching her battle cancer with grace and resilience has only reinforced that I couldn’t have chosen a better role model. To know her is to be better.”
As a woman in a male-dominated business world, King regularly faces challenges. Just when she thinks progress is being made, she’s reminded that women still have a long road ahead. Coming into her industry as a business owner and leader, she’s had to stand firm in her truths, express her opinions and know her value in more situations that she can count. But, she remains resilient, driven by a desire to show her daughters that they can achieve anything they set their minds to.
“Confidence in my knowledge and expertise has been crucial in navigating these challenges,” said King. “I’m committed to continuing my advocacy for women in business, using every opportunity to pave the way for others. Let’s be real, women get the job done!”
She and her team are committed to ongoing training, continuing education and business development to stay informed and ahead of the curve. The real estate industry is constantly evolving, and they make it a priority to adapt quickly. She leads by fostering a collaborative environment where open discussions are encouraged, ensuring the team can pivot effectively whenever needed.
“I measure success by feeling confident in y own skin and knowing I’ve given 100% in everything I do,” added King. “This creates a sense of balance, adaptability and fulfillment, both in my career and in life. Success also means leading a strong team of women for over a decade, watching them grow and succeed in their own careers. Knowing we can face any challenge together and come out stronger is incredibly rewarding. Ultimately, seeing those I’ve mentioned thrive, knowing my daughters are learning from my journey and finding happiness in both my professional and personal life is the true measure of success for me.”
Actively involved in the Tennessee Land Title Association for many years, King is currently honored to serve as its president. She also supports Domestic Violence Shelter, Isaiah 117 House, Second Harvest Food Bank, along with other important causes.
